- If you are 60 years of age or older, or permanently disabled, you
are eligible for a Golden Buckeye Card. As a cardholder, you are entitled
to discounts on goods and services from participating businesses in
Ohio.
- Apply for your card at the Circulation Desk with proof of birthdate,
or disability.
- From December 1, 2002 through March 31, 2003, we will not be
accepting applications for new or replacement Golden Buckeye cards.
New cards will automatically be sent to all Ohioans 60 years or older
as of February 28, 2003, and who have valid Ohio drivers licenses or
ID cards as of November 25, 2002. Registered voters over age 60 who
do not have a driver's license will also receive a new card. If you
have not received your new card by April, you may apply for one at your
local senior center or library.
