  • Learn the basics of navigating the Internet, including terminology.

Googling on the Internet

  • Further explore search techniques using Google.

Create a Free Email Account

  • Come  in a create a free email account, and learn how to use it.

  • Pre-requisite:  Introduction to the Internet class, or basic internet knowledge.

Basic Online Catalog Class

  • Learn how to search and use the Computer Catalog for Library Materials.

  • Title, author, subject, and keyword searching will be taught.

  • You will also learn how to place a reserve for library materials and access you library record online.

  • Learn about services and information provided by the Ohio Department of Insurance, along with a multitude of Web sites for seniors to explore the m any issues that arise as we age.

Mail Merge with MS Word

  • Learn how to create a data source, create a form letter, merge documents and create a label main document.

Introduction to eBooks

  • Learn the basics of locating/reserving eBooks from the Twinsburg Public Library's Web site. Also covered: steps on downloading the necessary software. Main focus is with a laptop or PC.

  • Explore gardening sites and beautiful gardens on the Internet

Cleaning Your Computer

  • Learn what you can do to fight this growing menace...viruses, spyware, adware and much more! We will be accepting 10 computers for hands on lessons. For more information & requirements stop in the computer lab.

  • Prerequisite: Moderate knowledge of your computer and the use of the internet, or have taken our Intro to Windows and Internet classes. Be willing to sign a liability waiver, be able to lift and move your own computer, have a computer running Windows 98 or newer, at least 100MB of Hard Drive space and 64MB RAM available on your computer, have a web accessible email account.

How to Buy Items on Ebay!

  • Explore how to purchase items on Ebay. You will learn how to register, find items, how to research, how to bid or buy, how to pay and how to buy safely.

  • Pre-requisite: Intro to Internet class, or basic Internet knowledge

How to Sell Items on Ebay!

  • Explore how to sell items on Ebay. You will learn how to register, check competitor's pricing, along with posting items.
