Computer Services
Users must have a valid CLEVNET library card. Driver's License will be
accepted for out of town or "guest" users. Users should be self
sufficient and able to work independently. Children age 12 and under must
be accompanied by an adult.
- Persons wishing to use a computer in the lab or classroom must sign
in at the desk in the Computer Center. Please have your library card.
- Computer use is on a first come first serve basis. Sorry, no reservations.
- The Classroom will be closed during computer classes.
- There is a 1 hour time limit per session. Users may remain after 1
hour is no one else is waiting to use a computer.
- The Classroom may be reserved by small groups for structured sessions.
Please check with the Computer Center Staff.
- Only one person at a computer at any given time
- Users may not bring their own programs to load on the hard drive.
- Users are asked to save information and documents to a floppy disk
only. Saved files may be deleted at morning startup. 3.5" disks are
available for purchase in the Computer Center.
- Copying or writing over library software is not permitted.
- No food or drink is allowed in the Computer Center or at any computer
keyboard in the library.
Faxing services available. Please check with the Computer Center staff.
Fax cover pages are available. We do not charge for sending our cover
pages.

- Black & White printer copies cost $.10 each
- Color printer copies are $.25 each.
- 3.5" floppy disks are available for $1.00 each
- Zip disks are available for $8.00 each
- Users are responsible for damage to equipment and software.
- Users willfully damaging any equipment will be prosecuted.
- The Library is not responsible for any damage to or loss of data caused
by viruses or by failure of hardware or software.
- The Library reserves the right to schedule classes at any time and
to change software programs on the computers.
- Internet Access shuts down at Computer Center closing time. Please
plan your work accordingly.
