champ and we will be going for our fifth title by winning back the coveted trophy! Battle of the Books
is like a game show to test your knowledge of the four books that everyone on
the team reads. It’s a friendly competition with real buzzers and loads of fun!

like reading? Are you a good at remembering what you read? Then WE need YOU for our team! If you would like to join, just let a librarian in Teen

Friday, June 15 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Make a soap with a superhero logo inside! Choose from Batman, Wonder Woman, Spider-Man, or make one up yourself. Registration begins May 18th. Ages 12-18 years

Afternoons in Teen Crossings

Come join the fun in Teen Crossings after school! Tuesdays: Wii Party, Wednesdays: Board Game Day, Thursdays: Anime Club, and Fridays: Chick Flicks. All programs start at 2:30 pm, except for Wii Party which starts at 2:00 pm. These programs end at 5:00 pm.AfternoonsAfternoons

Teen Advisory Board

Let your voice be heard at the library! Teens are welcome to share their opinions on what programs we have, what books and other materials we should buy, and whatever else they want to see happen at the library. We also have a lot of opportunities for volunteering and community involvement and of course, fun. Meetings are monthly. Call 330-425-4268 ext. 6 for information on the next meeting.

Community Service & Training

Volunteer at the Library!

The library needs lots of help this summer! What a great way to earn your required community service hours for graduation.

All volunteers are required to complete an application and a one hour training session before beginning their hours.  Training sessions are scheduled for Tuesday, May 22 at 3:00 p.m; Wednesday, May 23 at 7:30 p.m. and Thursday May 24 at 3:00 p.m.


Pick up an application in Children's Place or print it out here and bring it to your training session.
