Bricks for Kidz: Building with a Hero

Bricks4Kidz, a local Lego instruction franchise, will be here to teach kids, 10 and up, how to construct really cool motorized things that go like cars and airplanes. Bring your dad, uncle, or grandpa so they can help race each other. We will also build Hero sandwiches. A refundable $5.00 check will be required to register. Registration starts January 27. Teen Graphic Novel Club

Graphic Novel Club-FebruaryGraphic Novel Club-FebruaryTeen Graphic Novel Club is for middle school and high school students. New members are welcome! We meet on the fourth Tuesday of the month to talk about the books that we choose to read. Our next meeting is February 28, 2012 at 7:00. Call or stop in to register. Our current book is "Scott Pilgrim v. 1" by Bryan Lee O'Malley. See a librarian to find a copy.

 

Afternoons in Teen Crossings

Come join the fun in Teen Crossings after school! Tuesdays: Wii Party, Wednesdays: Board Game Day, Thursdays: Anime Club, and Fridays: Chick Flicks. All programs start at 2:30 pm, except for Wii Party which starts at 2:00 pm. These programs end at 5:00 pm.AfternoonsAfternoons

Teens are welcome to share their opinions on what programs we have, what books and other materials we should buy, and whatever else they want to see happen at the library. All volunteers are required to complete an application before beginning their hours.

The Twinsburg Public Library now offers access to Shmoop! Shmoop offers Test Prep and sample PSAT, SAT, ACT, and AP Exams as well as more than 600 Learning Guides in ten subjects: Literature, Poetry, Shakespeare, Bestsellers, U.S. History, Civics, Economics, Biography, Music, and Pre-Algebra.
