Talking to the Animals with Doris Straka - Thursday, October 2nd, 7:00 - 8:30 PM
Animal communicator Doris Straka can hear what animals think and feel. She has diagnosed illnesses later confirmed by a vet and has also assisted police. She will share her experiences and demonstrate her extrasensory abilities.Doris will do a "reading" on two pets, but this is an event for humans only, although an opportunity to make a personal appointment for one's pet will be possible after the presentation.

Crimes of Fashion - Sunday, October 5th, 2:00 - 3:30 PM
Spend an afternoon with Northeast Ohio's Sisters in Crime as we connect murder to fashion and fiction. You'll meet local mystery authors and chat via Skype with national names. All authors' books will be on sale.

A '60s Halloween Monster Mash - Tuesday, October 7th, 7:00 - 8:00 PM
Pop culture historian Bill Brauning will present a light hearted look at Halloween as it appeared in 1960s film and TV. Fun for all ages!

Millionaires Row - Euclid Avenue - Thursday, October 9th, 7:00 - 8:15 PM
Story teller Dan Ruminski will share his knowledge of this once stunning four-mile stretch in Cleveland.

Monday Night Movies

Deep Cover: Twinsburg & Beyond - Thursday, October 16th, 6:30 - 8:15 PM
Laura Peskin, author of the newly published book Deep Cover Cleveland, Vol I, will offer a plethora of overlooked, yet significant, Northeast Ohio phenomena. She will discuss Rev. Samuel Bissell's Twinsburg Institute, unique in its policies that enabled area Algonquin Indians to receive an education. Peskin will talk about other forgotten facets of Northeast Ohio’s changing landscape, prehistory, Native American heritage, unique architectural history, and more, from the Ice Age up to the financial depression of 1893. Participants will view images from the book during her talk and have an opportunity to purchase a signed copy afterwards.
