All are welcome to enjoy refreshments and drawings during the Friends' Annual Meeting. Then, hear Sara Hume, Assistant Professor and Curator of Kent State University Museum, talk about clothing trends in the era of the wildly popular series.

War & Remembrance Speaker Series - Saturday, September 20th, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Art Baughard is a US Navy, World War II veteran. Mr. Baughard served aboard the USS Savo Island, a small, modified aircraft carrier that was attacked by Japanese Kamikaze planes.

The Amish Inside and Out - Sunday, September 21th, 2:00 - 3:30 PM
Speaker and blogger Brenda Nixon has opened her home and heart to young Amish who are seeking to build a life outside the Amish community. Along with an ex-Amish son-in-law, she has become the “English mother” to two other former Amish boys and welcomes others who struggle to assimilate in the modern world. Find out what she has learned and learn about the Amish style of living. Mrs. Nixon’s parenting books will be available for sale after the presentation.
