One-on-One Coaching

The Library offers one-on-one training sessions (coaches) that can cover a variety of specific topics of interest. These could include computer and device use, digital projects, crafts, and community resources. This service is intended for all levels of users who need to get more comfortable with these topics. To sign up for a coaching session, you can call the Library at (330) 425-4268 x2 or use the form here: One-on-One Coaching Form

Does it cost anything?
Coaches are a free service.

How long are the sessions?
Sessions can last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour.

What times are the sessions offered?
They are offered at various times throughout the work week (Monday-Friday) and are dependent upon the availability of staff. Coaching sessions are limited and appointments may need to be scheduled up to two weeks in advance (see the form above).

What if I need to cancel my scheduled appointment?
Please call and cancel at least 24 hours in advance, if possible. If you do not call and cancel or reschedule your appointment, it will be labeled as a “No Show” appointment. Multiple no-shows will result in a temporary suspension of this service.

What are the things I can get a coach on?
You can request a coach on anything, but we may not be able to accommodate that topic if we do not have staff knowledgeable in that area or it violates State, Federal, and/or Copyright Law. Below is a list of the topics that we can provide coaches for:

  • Smart Device Basics (phones, tablets, e-readers)
  • Computer Basics
  • Microsoft Office Help
  • Sewing Basics
  • Cricut and Cricut Heat Press Basics
  • Creative Lab Help
